See the Devastating Aftermath of Superstorm Sandy... →
Superstorm Sandy blew through the east coast Monday, leaving millions without power and a huge mess to be cleaned. Many people, including the majority of New York City, are still without power this morning. Residents woke up to the disaster area Tuesday and captured the damage. Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by Sandy. We hope you’re safe and dry this morning.

The Benjamin Franklin Effect →
jtotheizzoe: Utterly fascinating account of how we end up liking those we do nice things for, and hating those we harm, which is exactly the opposite of what we think we are doing, from the book/blog You Are Not So Smart (which is in some ways both exactly the same and completely the opposite of this blog). “Let’s start with your attitudes. Attitude is the psychological term for the the...

I JUST LIKE TO BE BY MYSELF.
you think you’re like a bird, but you wanna be a part of a flock. i’m a lone goddamn eagle and you know what, i can fend for myself. it’s crazy how many things you can realize about someone you thought you knew so much about… and besides everyone i’m referencing in my mind, this statement mostly applies 200% to myself.
